An automated online book sourcing tool. What does that mean? It's a system that will look up a list of books on your behalf several times a day to popular sites such as Amazon, Half, Alibris and Abebooks. The IWL is looking for the bargin books - books that you can buy for less than wholesale, including shipping charges. Who should use the IWL? The IWL was designed for college bookstores, but is certainly not limited to that market. Why would I want to use the IWL? Do you want an easy way to get your books cheaper than wholesale? Would you like a system that looks up your entire want list several times a day and shows you only the results that will save you money? Why was the IWL developed? Book costs are the higest portion of expenses for college bookstores. If there was a way to save 10% on the cost of books, that would increase my bottom line substantially. However, searching the internet manually was time-consuming and very labor-intensive. The IWL is the perfect solution to finding books online. |
